Training and Assessment Team

This operational engineering support team is a combination of front line competency assessors and experienced trainers who develop educational, informative and engaging training programs and Competency Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) systems. We develop all necessary standards and procedures, training materials and structured assessments for a large variety of competencies.

Embedded in this team are specialised technical authors who can either assist in developing or providing your organisation’s operating manuals, procedures, administrative, safety and planning documents. These can be developed using your existing formats or our in-house templates.

As part of overall asset management services, the K2 operations support team is experienced in the implementation of electronic permitting systems and can provide consultation and assistance with the implementation of computerised permitting processes.

K2 is currently working towards Registered Training Organisation (RTO) status, to allow us to provide a total training, assessing and accreditation service.

Shutdown/Turnaround Team

This experienced team can assist with, or provide total management for your shutdowns. The team provides the systems, procedures and planning tools to deliver reliable results for this significant maintenance expenditure.

The K2 team members have experience in managing shutdown implementation, commissioning and decommissioning, which provides the total lifecycle management for your business.

Our operations support team will provide the results you require in the planning, execution and close out phases, across all disciplines, using a proven systematic approach, underpinned by procedures and plans that are managed by highly experienced people.

Engineering Support Team

K2’s operations support team consists of highly qualified and experienced team leaders and project managers who have successfully completed a wide variety of projects in the resources and energy sector.

Our engineering team will provide the necessary day-to-day support across instrumentation, electrical, mechanical and rotating equipment disciplines. Support encompasses all project stages and/or in the production phase.

We have specialised engineers and technical assistants who will integrate with your current team, or work as a standalone team, to ensure that your scope of work is delivered on time, within budget and to a standard that will exceed expectations.

Our operational engineering support team can review, plan and manage your asset’s inspection and maintenance related activities. Good maintenance and inspection plans provide for sound budget forecasting, adequate sparing, optimised production and reduced equipment failure rates.
